In a post in the Official Rift Forums, Elrar announced that they found some issues in the World Event that only came to light on the live servers as opposed to the test servers. In order to fix this issue, they temporarily disabled the World Event in the EU shards, and will be postponing the event on NA shards until they fix the issues. Phase One will still be playable.
